A Christmas Shopping Party

I recently hosted a party for two very talented ladies.  Teressa Lane Jewelry & Colleen from Outside The Bloom are both super creative entrepreneurs with such beautiful work.  A few weeks before Christmas I invited everyone I knew for a little shopping at my house to support shopping local!  

First up, a little wine and sweets were on hand to accompany our shopping.  I used a plaid blanket that I found at a thrift store as the tablecloth.

 

 I loved Colleen's pillows and beautiful signs.  Each piece was available for custom design, so people could swap out what their signs said and the finishes.  The signs with the string lights were sold first.  Adorable!

New Prints for Kid's Rooms

Sorry for the delay in posts to all my followers!  Since December, we lost A LOT of photos from iPhoto and then my phone was destroyed, so I've had a few "technical difficulties" of late.

I'm excited to share our newest prints to the Etsy shop!  We have a girl version, "Butterflies" and a boy version, "Dragons".   Both are 12x18 and make an adorable and unique baby shower gift, birthday present, or just an addition to your little one's room.

Baby Shower Basket for Gianna

I recently went to my friend Lisa's baby shower. She is expecting her first child, Gianna Elyse in February. By the way, how adorable is that name????Gianna's nursery colors are cream, grey, and pink. I love doing baby shower baskets and this one was no exception! Didn't it turn out cute?

I made sure to include some of my very favorite things. First up, our Quirky Love print, an organic bamboo blanket from Kicky Pants, Carter's newborn onesies, Aquaphor (a.k.a. miracle ointment), and a JellyCat bunny. Tucked in the back is a funny little book called Porn For New Moms. If you've never seen it, it's hilarious and Lisa is just the gal to appreciate this sort of thing! Can't wait to meet little baby G!

A handmade tree star

Those of you who follow my blog and know me, you know that my dad is SO super talented. My dad is the one behind our handmade beds we sell on Etsy.

He made this tree topper by hand for my sister and her family, and if you look closely, you can see all their initials on the inside (R, N, R, E & C). Love this idea and maybe we'll sell custom stars next year in our Etsy shop!

Amanda's holiday decor

My good friend Amanda has such a cute, quirky style and she has been putting that style to great use! She has been crafting like a mad woman lately! All her hard work has paid off because isn't her house adorable?

What's up, Buttercup?

Check out our newest print in our Etsy shop. Isn't she cute? This print came from inspiration from my little Drew. Every morning when I go to get her, she is standing in her crib looking at me with that sweet face and I ask her, "what's up, buttercup?".
This would just look so cute in any little girl's room and would be such a cute gift framed for your next baby shower! Can you imagine giving this with a box of Sprinkles cupcakes?
